Renesha Gooding, Owner

My name is Renesha Gooding-Hayes, born and raised in Prince George’s County, MD a wife and a mother of two (2) adult children. Since childhood, I have been captivated by the magic of bringing people together and celebrating life's milestones. While my career began as an Executive Assistant to now working Full-Time for the Federal Government, I discovered my true calling while planning my own wedding. It was then that I realized my knack for meticulous organization and creative design could bring peace of mind to other couples embarking on their own journeys.

This passion led me to launch U Deserve An Awesome Day (UDAAD) in 2006. My philosophy is simple: planning your wedding should be an exciting and joyful experience, not a stressful one. My role is to be your steady hand and creative partner, translating your unique love story into a flawlessly executed event. Couples often tell me that my calm demeanor and knack for anticipating potential issues make them feel completely at ease—even when a last-minute rainstorm threatens the outdoor ceremony.

When I'm not bringing dream weddings to life, you can find me praying, being a wife, mother and bowling, I believe that my love for beautiful things and meaningful moments is what truly drives my work. I can't wait to hear your story and help you plan a celebration that is uniquely, beautifully
you.

U Deserve An Awesome Day

U Deserve An Awesome Day UDAAD is dedicated to my father Donald W. Gooding, Sr. He was my best friend, someone I could talk to about anything, he gave me lots of advice about life and how to be strong, independent, and how to survive. My dad was a family man like me and we were both Capricorn’s and yes, I’m a daddy’s girl. Dad was a Veteran and served in the United States Marine Corp, he suffered for many years from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and unfortunately while I was planning my own wedding he passed suddenly in October 2004. After planning my own wedding in 2005, I decided to start my own business and dedicate it to him. The abbreviation of my company is UDAAD which means “For U Dad”. In remembrance of him I offer a 10% military discount for all my clients even if they’re not military.
